Novice is a beautiful and simple sweater - the perfect project for beginners. The knitting pattern is very elaborate and easy to understand. PetiteKnit have designed this trendy mohair version with 3/4 sleeves. If you prefer long sleeves add 25 g silk mohair to your order.
Novice Sweater Mohair Edition is the perfect basic sweater. Worked from the top down, with a circular yoke and rib edges.

This kit does not contain the original yarn used by PetiteKnit, but carefully selected yarn that matches the gauge:
175(200)200(225)225(275)325 g Silk Mohair
Önling No 10, 70% Mohair, 30% Silk, 25 g = 210 meter
Note: The design is with 3/4 sleeves - if you prefer long sleeves, buy an extra 25 g silk mohair.
Needles:Circular needles: 3 mm [US2½] 40 and 80 cm [16 and 32 inches], 4 mm [US6] 40, 60 and 80 cm [16, 24 and 32 inches]
Double-pointed needles: 3 mm [US2½]
Gauge:21 stitches x 28 rows = 10 x 10 cm [4 x 4 inches] in stockinette stitch on a 4 mm [US6] needle with 2 strand of silk mohair held together
