Braided into 4 oz (113 g) or 8 oz (226 g) hanks, our roving is dyed using two bases:

More Than Sox is 70% Blue Faced Leicester and 30% cultivated silk and is a more luxurious fiber for spinning yarns for shawls, cowls, and sweaters where you want that lovely silkiness next to your softer skin. Perfect for all felting projects. Due to the silk content, this roving will always have a more silvery sheen than does its 100% SW Merino counterpart.

Not Sox Yet is 100% Superwash Merino; it is light, fluffy and perfect for spinning yarns used in projects which may need more frequent washing like socks, gloves, and hats. This fiber takes the dye very well, and colors are bright and richly-hued.
